I am a native Taiwanese with more than 6 years of professional experience in teaching Chinese. My teaching pedagogy depends on the type of Chinese the student wants to learn: ranging from conversational Chinese, to Business Chinese, traditional characters for TOCFL or simplified characters for HSK exams preparation, Chinese Interview and Speaking courses.
I taught in India for over a year at a language institute, where I handled classes of up to 15 students, from HSK 1 to HSK 4. Through this experience, I also became very familiar with the learning styles and needs of Indian students. In the past five years, I’ve taught more than 50 online students from India, Indonesia, and the U.S.
Having worked in Beijing and Tianjin for over a year, I am also familiar with the cultural and linguistic differences between China and Taiwan.
